Gunning & Son supported the delivery of a 580 m² industrial flooring installation at the Hoedspruit Hangar in South Africa. LRM Industrial Flooring installed a 1.3 mm Flowcoat SF41 system, finished with Stonseal 722 Non-Slip to provide a seamless, durable surface with improved underfoot traction.

Scope of Work
The work centred on supplying and supporting the specification of a high-performance resin floor suited to the operational demands of a hangar environment. The installation was completed by LRM Industrial Flooring across the full 580 m² area.

Site Conditions & Challenges
Hangar floors need to perform under regular movement, equipment use and changing working conditions while remaining straightforward to clean and maintain. Achieving a consistent finish over a large area also required a system that could be applied reliably and finished with dependable slip resistance.

Our Approach
LRM Industrial Flooring applied Flowcoat SF41 at 1.3 mm across the prepared hangar floor. The surface was then sealed with Stonseal 722 Non-Slip, adding a protective layer and a textured finish that improves traction without compromising the clean, seamless appearance of the resin system.
